Braner/Loopco High-Performance CNC Core Cutters quickly, accurately, and automatically cut long cardboard tubes into narrow width “cores” commonly used to support the ID of thin-gauge slit coils. With a production rate up to 20 cut cores per minute, Braner/Loopco’s CNC Core Cutter is the industry’s most efficient and most productive. It handles cardboard tubes up to 72” long x 3/4" wall with IDs from 6” through 24”. Positioning and cutting functions are automatic and operatorless. The patented design is able to change cardboard tube IDs in just a few minutes without power handling equipment, which makes it many times more productive and easier to use than any other brand. Multiple cut core widths and multiple quantities are programmed into the Core Cutter controller for a completely automatic and completely operatorless operation.
